A world-class kitchen knife manufacturer had the products, the range, and the pricing to win internationally, but almost all of its revenue came from its home market.
The Client
On paper, this was one of the most capable suppliers in its category. The business had spent years building genuine product and operational strength.
The core challenge: Despite world-class products and marketing fundamentals, the company sold almost exclusively to domestic buyers. Relative to its production capacity and capabilities, the home market was tiny, and export, where the real opportunity sat, was barely being tapped.
Diagnosis
Content ranked for domestic and consumer terms, not the high-intent commercial keywords international buyers actually search: "OEM chef knife manufacturer", "private label kitchen knives supplier", "custom Damascus knife wholesale".
Excellent on-site content, but a weak backlink and PR footprint in the trade media, B2B directories and industry publications that overseas importers, distributors and brands trust and reference.
The site spoke to browsers, not buyers. There was no clear OEM/ODM enquiry journey, no localized proof, no fast lane for serious importers to request samples, MOQs and quotes.
Spend and content were running without full-funnel measurement. There was no reliable way to see which markets, keywords or campaigns produced real export enquiries, so budget couldn't follow results.
The Strategy
The mandate was simple to state and hard to do: make this manufacturer the obvious choice for serious international buyers, importers, distributors, retail brands and HoReCa procurement teams, in every market it could serve.
The programme ran on a fixed retainer, and the client could watch every dollar of it map to the work it paid for, in real time, from the dashboard.

The Results
Metrics as tracked in the client's live Digiera dashboard.
The same products, range, MOQs and pricing that always made the company competitive were finally visible and credible to the international buyers who could act on them. Demand stopped depending on the domestic market alone.
No single channel did this. The result came from compounding: genuine high-authority backlinks and industry PR built the trust that made content rank; rankings lowered paid acquisition costs; paid and ABM filled the pipeline; and CRO plus automation converted more of it, all measured end to end.
Alongside the live dashboard, the client received a written record of the work: weekly activity summaries, monthly performance reports, and a strategy review every six weeks.
For the first time, export isn't a hope, it's our biggest growth channel, and we can see exactly where it comes from.
